Our hope is based on the fact that he has already accepted us and reconciled us to himself in Christ Jesus. There is nothing we can do to add anything to our own works, but he has given us grace through faith in Jesus. Not by works but he has done it and we have to accept it. What do you do with his gift to you? Do you want it? Or do you want to go your own way and try to become good? It will be easier to be good if you have first been forgiven and walk with him who is our creator, God the Father.
