At the Qatar Economic Forum, Musk confirmed he will remain Tesla CEO for at least 5 more years and teased the launch of fully autonomous robotaxis in Austin, TX. He also discussed the UAE’s plan to build the world’s largest AI hub outside the U.S. and securing a Starlink deal in Saudi Arabia.

Musk briefly led Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), but has since stepped back to focus on tech innovation. After contributing nearly $300 million to GOP campaigns, Musk says he’s done with major political donations—for now.
