Galatians 5:1-6

In our study today, the apostle Paul boldly claims that to pursue any way to salvation other than by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, will sever you from Christ. The Judaizers were persuading the Galatians to accept circumcision in observance of the Law of Moses, claiming this would save them. Not so, says the apostle Paul; if anyone accepts circumcision as a means of achieving righteousness, Christ will be of no benefit to them. True believers, on the other hand, are eternally secure in Christ. The Holy Spirit has come to dwell in them and seal them until the day of redemption.
