Avowed Director Carrie Patel has suddenly departed Obsidian Entertainment after 12 years, leaving the future of the project in serious doubt. It debuted earlier this year to a muted reception and never picked up steam and this latest development echoes a similar game with a similar trajectory: Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
