There’s a cartoon where a caveman is casually leaning against a tree—except it’s not a tree, it’s the foreleg of a Brontosaurus. Some things are just so big that you can’t see them—thus, our gospel of grace. For those who can only think in terms of righteousness via law-obedience, being declared righteous by grace APART from works of law (or ANY behavior) is too magnificent a proposition to even imagine, let alone believe.
