Israel Shoots Down Arms Smuggling Drone From Egypt In Dramatic Operation

✈ IDF thwarts weapon smuggling attempt from Egypt into Israeli territory

IDF observers detected a drone that crossed from Egyptian territory into Israel in an attempt to smuggle weapons on Monday, the military announced on Tuesday.

The drone was downed by IDF soldiers, and during subsequent searches, the drone was located carrying 19 handguns, three machine guns, and ammunition.

The weapons were transferred to the security forces for further handling.
