First Lady Melania Trump hosted a group of children in the Kennedy Garden of the White House as part of the National Bring Your Kids to Work Day cultural program. The event focused on artistic and creative activities, during which children of the Executive Office of the President enthusiastically decorated wooden American flags.

Children created their own artwork inspired by patriotic symbols using red and blue markers, star stickers, and small red, white, and blue balls.

Melania Trump said at the ceremony that it is always special and inspiring to see the creativity and spirit of children, especially in an environment like the White House, which is a place of relentless effort for the country's success.

The cultural event came just one day after the President and First Lady signed the Take It Down Act, which is part of Melania Trump’s “Be Your Best” initiative to support the mental health and self-esteem of the next generation. The Take It Down Act was enacted to protect victims of cyberbullying and remove images that were posted online to harass them.
