James Blair warns US debt and deficit will skyrocket unless Congress passes Trump package

White House Deputy Chief of Staff James Blair blasts GOP “grandstanders” bickering over the One Big Beautiful Bill, a tax cut and spending reform package supported by President Donald Trump. “If we don’t pass this bill, the country will default on its debt which could possibly cause a global depression,” he says. “But we’re not going to fail, we’re going to pass this bill.”
