Rep. Andy Ogles: Medicaid is top issue stopping House Freedom Caucus’ support of Big Beautiful Bill

Representative Andy Ogles (R-TN) says Medicaid is a major issue holding up House Freedom Caucus members’ support of the One Big Beautiful Bill. "For example, you have 15 million people on Medicaid that are able-bodied, meaning that they can have a job, and they have no income. They're not working," he says. "And I think what that means is that you and I pay for that, and the American people want everybody to pay their fair share." Rep. Olges says the House doesn’t have the votes to pass the bill as it stands today.
