Is it wrong for a Christian to aim for wealth and fame?

The Bible doesn't label wealth or fame as sinful. However, making them our primary pursuit can lead us astray. 1 Timothy 6:9 warns, 'Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap.'
Jesus, when tempted with power and glory, chose humility over worldly acclaim. He taught us to seek God's kingdom first (Matthew 6:33).
True fulfillment comes not from riches or recognition, but from aligning our ambitions with God's will. If He blesses us with success, it's a tool to glorify Him, not ourselves.
Remember, it's not about the spotlight on us, but reflecting the light of Christ.
