DOOM AND GLOOM CHURCHES

Hi Pastor Bob! It has been a long time since I watched your videos. Your name came to me last night when I was needing some guidance. My mother took me to church when I was growing up and it wasn't a good environment. She was abusive to me. I still find it hard to go to church. In my area churches are the doom and gloom type. I have been told that in order to attend church, I have to only listen to gospel or non rock/metal music. I want to worship God but I am worried. I like my rock/metal music. Any advice on good bands to listen to? Also what can I do about my reluctancy to go to church due to the bad experiences? Thank you for doing what you do! I will now continue to watch you on YouTube!
