LOVE THAT IS WORTH OUR ALL

Luke 9:24-25 New King James Version
24 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it. 25 For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and is himself destroyed or lost?

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA DEAR ONES!!!

While I was reading this very precious passage of scripture, God brought to my mind some very interesting things, that I haven't thought about in a long time, and I felt it important to share. In particular, one of the things that I was thinking of while reading this passage of scripture, was those five very brave, godly missionaries who went to reach out to the Udani tribe in the Amazon and wound up losing their lives for it. One of those men in particular, I thought about was none other than Jim Elliott, who made a very powerful statement that I believe sticks today. “He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep, to gain what he cannot earn.” I also was really deeply thinking about what I read out of this morning's devotional, about William Teller, and the challenge he made in this sermon to these young students at Oxford, and I wonder if I would be willing to give my soul, my life, my all for Christ. If it really came down to it, would I be willing to give everything, even my life for the sake of my savior?

That's why tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that I learned out of this passage out of God's word, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that it challenges you to think about what it means to give everything for the sake of Jesus Christ. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with these important questions from this morning's devotional, and I pray that you will not only think about them but act on them.

What will believing in and following Jesus cost you?

What will you gain?

I pray tonight that you will deeply think about these questions, and that you will not be afraid to give your life, soul, and all to Jesus Christ. That even if it cost you your job, friends, family, and yes maybe even your life, that you will not be afraid to say that I have placed my faith and trust in Christ, and I will follow Him only! Remember guys, that following Jesus is truly the way to our deepest joy, that we'll truly discovered that following Him gets the life we truly desire, even when following Jesus isn't easy. Because as Winn state so very well, “if we respond to God's love, believe in Christ, and relinquish our selfish short sighted demands, we’ll the life our soul craves”, and gain the greatest, most precious gift of all. Eternal life in Christ Jesus!
