Drawing from my experience as a vegan bodybuilding coach, I break down the practical aspects of building bench press strength safely, including why beginners shouldn't immediately start with compound lifts and my concerns about flat barbell bench pressing injuries.
I share my proven three-week rotating strength training program that helped me build impressive pressing power without constantly testing my one-rep max. This approach focuses on perfect form with varying rep schemes: 10 sets of 3 reps, 7 sets of 5 reps, and 5 sets of 7 reps using submaximal weights.
