EAM Jaishankar Sets The Record Straight On Trump Mediation Claim On India-Pak Ceasefire

India's External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar has reiterated that the recent truce between India and Pakistan resulted from bilateral engagement and that there was no mediation. S. Jaishankar's statement was a response to a question on US mediation in an interview with the Netherlands-based broadcaster NOS. In a strongly-worded statement, S. Jaishankar also said that no country negotiated a part of its territory and that Kashmir was and will always remain a part of India. He said New Delhi is ready to discuss when Islamabad can vacate Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). India's Foreign Minister said Operation Sindoor was triggered by the barbaric terrorist attack in Pahalgam where 26 tourists were brutally killed. India hit command centres of terror groups in Pakistan and PoK.
