Memorial Day Honoring Americans Who Gave The Full Measure.

Don't be clueless and waddle up to a veteran on Memorial Day to say "Thank you for your service". That's like thanking your Dad on Mothers Day. There are 364 other days to riff a very-much-deserved thanks to veterans. Many veterans get pretty upset with civilians conflating the sacredness of Memorial Day, honoring those who never came home or who died in a VA hospital from grievous battle wounds. Those are their brothers and sisters, forever young in death. While grilling out or watching sports, interrupt the party and take a moment to pray or be silent in their memory. You won't be able to thank them in person. They lie inert at places like Arlington. You keep them alive and relevant by memorial, especially in your home with your family.
