“We Are Going To Succeed”: State Department Previews Fifth Round of Iran Nuclear Talks

Bruce emphasized that the talks would not be proceeding without a genuine belief in progress and the possibility of success. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Policy Planning Director Michael Anton will lead the U.S. delegation. The negotiations occur amid heightened tensions, including Iran's warnings against potential Israeli attacks on its nuclear sites and Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's criticism of U.S. demands as "outrageous."
