Kimberly was born in Washington DC shortly after her father, Carl Kammerer, played his last season with the Washington Redskins under head coach Vince Lombardi. Raised in the Washington metropolitan area, Kimberly left her familiar surroundings to play volleyball on a full scholarship on the west coast. She returned to the DC area and completed her bachelor's degree at the University of Maryland College Park.
She along with her husband, Randy, founded Alabaster House, a nonprofit organization providing spiritual resources to government leaders. The commitment to confidentiality and personalized support has established Alabaster House as a trusted resource within the government arena. In this role, Kimberly leads prayer and chapel times for members of Congress and congressional spouses, governors and the first
spouses, as well as government officials and their spouses in the three branches of government.
