This video explores the phenomenon of vanishing people in China, from empty cities like Shanghai to the return to rural life, suggesting a potential abandonment of the corporate system.
[04:28-04:42]
This chapter introduces the mystery of vanishing people in China, noting a deadly silence and the disappearance of millions.
The unsolved mystery in China: where have all the people gone? From cities to rural towns, a deadly silence looms and millions of beggars have unexpectedly vanished.
[04:42-05:19]
A blogger in Shanghai shows empty spaces, questioning where all the people have gone amidst seemingly deserted shopping malls and food stalls.
A blogger shared a video stating, "You all say you want to come to Shanghai to start your careers. Let me show you what Shanghai looks like now. Look at this massive shopping mall. Such a huge space and there's no one here. There's a street full of food stalls set up on a grand scale, but not a single person in sight. Just look at this place. So vast, yet completely empty. It feels like an empty city. The biggest mystery now is, where have all the people gone?
[05:19-05:56]
Chinese citizens express concern over the lack of people in cities, particularly in Beijing, linking this emptiness to China's economic slowdown.
Where are the customers?" This sentiment echoes the voices of many in China starting in 2025. Many have noticed fewer people on the streets. "I don't know if you've noticed, but there are no people on the streets of Beijing. There's nobody in malls, nobody on the streets, nobody anywhere. I feel like there are fewer and fewer people in Beijing, but I just don't know where they've gone." Most people believe that the emptiness in large cities is closely tied to China's economic slowdown.
[05:56-06:18]
Workers, struggling to make a living in big cities due to high costs, are returning to their hometowns for a simpler lifestyle.
Many workers are unable to make a living, and more people are realizing that despite earning more in big cities, the cost of living is higher. To survive these difficult economic times, many have chosen to return to their hometowns and smaller cities, opting for a simpler lifestyle.
[06:18-06:54]
People are abandoning the corporate system in China, opting for a more rural tradition and leaving cities, signifying a rejection of the system.
I wanna tie this into how the fall of the corporate slavery system of humanity and people waking up to something wrong, but not knowing what to do about it. They're going back to a more rural tradition and moving out of the cities, in China specifically. This is something that they're not even doing with the claim of nationality to take over power for themselves. They're just abandoning the corporation, these systems, because they don't wanna be a part of it and they don't want to consent to it. So they're leaving it, which I find very interesting.
