Logline:
In 1715, as the Ottoman Turks descend upon the Croatian town of Sinj, a small band of warriors known as the Alkar Knights make a final stand against impossible odds. Guided by their faith and the miraculous presence of the Virgin Mary, they fight to protect their land, their people—and their souls.

CAST:
Tom Cruise as Captain John Sinclair, a legendary war tactician from Venice turned mercenary, who converts to Christianity and finds redemption in Sinj.

Luis Morgado as Luis of Lisbon, a former Portuguese Templar Knight turned Alkar horse trainer.

Bruno Jukic as Bruno the Blacksmith, a giant of a man who forges the sacred lances of the Alkar warriors.

Joe Jukic as Josip “Joe” of Sinj, a young visionary and prophet who sees the Virgin Mary in dreams and leads the spiritual defense of the city.

Mike Jukic as Father Mihovil, a battle-hardened priest with a musket and a rosary, who inspires the town to resist tyranny.

ACT I: THE APPROACHING STORM
The year is 1715. The Ottoman Empire has returned with 60,000 troops to crush the last free bastion of Christian resistance in Dalmatia: the town of Sinj. With only 700 defenders and a handful of cavalry, it is a hopeless cause.

Tom Cruise’s Captain Sinclair, weary of war and faithless, arrives in Sinj after hearing tales of miraculous visions in the hills. He meets Joe Jukic, a fiery teenager with prophetic dreams of the Gospa Sinjska (Our Lady of Sinj), who warns that “Sinj will fall unless we ride with faith.”

ACT II: THE RISE OF THE ALKARI
As the Turks build siege machines outside the walls, Luis Morgado begins training the last remaining horsemen—the Alkar Knights, protectors of the Marian shrine—with deadly precision. Bruno Jukic, working day and night in the forge, reforges the Seven Lances of Saint Michael, rumored to pierce darkness itself.

Father Mihovil (Mike Jukic) performs a mass in the town square, declaring Sinj to be under the direct protection of the Virgin Mary. A mysterious storm suddenly halts the Turkish cannon fire for three days—Joe claims it is the Lady’s first miracle.

Inspired by the visions and with Tom Cruise reluctantly donning armor again, the defenders prepare for a final, sacred cavalry charge.

ACT III: THE MIRACLE OF SINJ
As dawn breaks on August 15th—Feast of the Assumption—the Turks breach the outer walls. All seems lost. But from the shrine of the Virgin Mary, a blinding white light erupts across the battlefield. Turkish horses rear, confused, and their ranks falter.

To the sound of ancient drums, the Alkar Knights—led by Tom Cruise, Luis, and the Jukic brothers—ride out of the gates in one final lance charge.

They strike like angels through the chaos. Turkish banners fall. Arrows bend mid-air. Joe, riding with the standard of the Virgin, is untouched. The Ottomans flee. The town is saved.

EPILOGUE: LEGACY OF THE LADY
The Alkar Tournament is born—an annual celebration of the Miracle of Sinj.

Tom Cruise’s character becomes a monk. Luis trains future generations of Alkars. Joe writes a gospel of what he saw. Mike Jukic builds a new church. Bruno places the last lance above the altar—forever stained with fire and grace.

Overhead, a soft glow remains above the Marian statue, centuries later.

FINAL SHOT:
Joe looks at the camera and says:

“They say miracles are for the foolish. But in Sinj, we rode with one.”
