📽️Lilo & Stitch (2025)🎥 FamilyShield Rated G (✅Suitable for all ages, with ✅no sexual content, ✅❓no LGBTQ+ content, ✅❓no woke content, ⭐️minimal rude behaviors, and ✅no bad language.)

✅❓LGBTQ+ free (see info below)
✅❓Woke free (see info below)

💲Worth paying to see if you have kids that you believe will enjoy it, otherwise, this is a borderline "wait and see until you can stream for free movie".

ℹ️Not as good as the original, not even close. That said, it’s not horrible. They lost some important messages, such as putting family first and the overall importance of family. Instead, they seemed to modify or prioritize the importance of self over family, or at least it felt that way. They also put too much emphasis on Nani. It would have been nice to keep Jumba’s voice similar to the 2002 version, and could they not get Ving Rhames to reprise his role as Agent Bubbles? To my great surprise, they did not cave to the LGBTQ+ agenda. Although❓Pleakley’s human disguise seemed gay, it was not explicit and could only be perceived through his dress and mannerisms. To sum it up: an okay movie that lost some of the original’s meaning or feel due to changes. It could have been better, with no or minimal LGBTQ+ content, depending on how you interpret it, and it wouldn’t be noticeable to children.

Plot:
Set in Hawaii, the story follows 6-year-old Lilo (Maia Kealoha), an orphaned Native Hawaiian girl raised by her teenage sister, Nani (Sydney Agudong), after their parents’ death in an accident. Nani struggles to provide stability, facing pressure from social worker Mrs. Kekoa (Tia Carrere) to prove she can care for Lilo or risk losing custody. Lilo, lonely and grieving, adopts a strange blue “dog” from a shelter, naming him Stitch (voiced by Chris Sanders). Unbeknownst to her, Stitch is Experiment 626, a chaotic alien created by Dr. Jumba (Zach Galifianakis) for destruction, who crash-landed on Earth after escaping the United Galactic Federation. Stitch poses as a dog to evade Jumba and Agent Pleakley (Billy Magnussen), who are sent to recapture him, disguising themselves as humans. As Stitch causes chaos, he bonds with Lilo, helping her and Nani navigate their grief and strengthen their ohana. CIA agent Cobra Bubbles (Courtney B. Vance) investigates alien activity, while neighbors Tūtū (Amy Hill) and David (Kaipo Dudoit) support the sisters. The climax involves a confrontation with Jumba, testing the family’s resilience, with themes of love, loyalty, and found family.
