Sen. Ron Johnson alleges CDC official likely destroyed docs related to COVID vaccine risks

Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI), chairman of the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, alleges that CDC official Tom Shimabukuro deleted evidence concerning COVID vaccine risks. “Communications from him were part of our subpoena. First reaction was ‘well, we don’t have any communications from Tom Shimabukuro.’ He was central to [CDC] safety surveillance. Couldn’t even find out whether he was still working,” he says. Sen. Johnson has referred Shimabukuro to Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel for further investigation.
