Summary: The Enterprise receives a distress signal from the planet TikTok, a vibrant world rumored to be a utopia of creativity.
Captain Kirk, Spock, McCoy, and a landing party beam down to investigate. They find a society obsessed with short, looping performances—dances, lip-syncs, and bizarre challenges—broadcast on glowing screens to an audience of billions. The TikTokians, led by the charismatic Algorithm Prime, worship “likes” and “follows,” measuring worth by viral fame.

Initially intrigued, Kirk is horrified by the hateful species that reside on this planet.
Spock observes that the TikTokians’ neural patterns are addicted to dopamine spikes from constant validation, rendering them incapable of critical thought. McCoy is appalled by the psychological toll, noting cases of “scroll-induced catatonia.”

Scotty eventually beams them back to the Enterprise, after Kirk exclaims “let’s get the hell out of here”.
