Recipe for Old Fashioned Nana Puddin

1 box of vanilla wafers
3 large ripe bananas, sliced
1 cup sugar
4 egg yolks
2 TBSP flour
2 Cups of milk
1 tsp vanilla
8 oz whipped topping
Mix sugar, egg yolks, flour and milk. Stir over medium heat until boiling. Remove from heat, Add Vanilla. Layer bottom of 2-quart dish with vanilla wafers. Top with sliced bananas. Pour half of the pudding over the top. Repeat the second layer. Refrigerate for one hour. Serve topped with whipped topping.
