Welcome to album review Tuesdays here on the channel and tonight we are doing another member request and this one comes from my buddy Bradley so tonight we are headed to The USA for a review of an amazing old school Sludge metal band who have been around for a very long time with The Melvins-Bullhead.

Now along with EYEHATEGOD and Crowbar, The Melvins are widely regarded as one of the pioneering bands of the genre. Now granted they do have a mixture of some grunge elements as well as drone in their music. It’s also known that the band were good friends with Kurt Cobain of Nirvana as well.
The band's genre fluctuates from release to release, playing grunge, stoner rock, sludge, drone, hardcore influenced rock, or experimental pieces.

The band was named after a grocery clerk at the Thriftway in Montesano, Washington, where Osborne served as clerk (and vandal). "Melvin" was the most-hated fellow employee and the band's members felt it to be an appropriately ridiculous name.
