Nowhere Is Safe From Israeli Strikes

Israeli attacks in central and southern Gaza in the past few hours have killed eight Palestinians, including children.

In the south, a residential flat was targeted by heavy artillery, killing a man, his wife and two of their children. In Nuseirat refugee camp, another residential building was targeted by jets.

It was also another sleepless night in Gaza City due to the ongoing systematic demolition of residential homes, by the use of the explosive devices planted by the Israeli military. And these are very devastating, very loud, particularly at night, just keeping everyone awake.

We also see people sleeping on cardboard on footpaths here in Gaza City as we hear more of the ongoing drone buzz over our heads.

Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud reports.

In Gaza, Palestinians have seen no let up in Israel's assault of the strip. At least 53 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks on Friday. The Jabalia refugee camp has been hit by successive strikes. An attack overnight left more than 50 people trapped under debris - many couldn't be reached.

Al Jazeera's Anas Al Sharif reports from the Jabalia refugee camp.

In the occupied West Bank this week there have been more reports of attacks by Israeli settlers on Palestinians and their properties. Settler violence has ramped up there since the start of the war on Gaza.

Al Jazeera’s Bernard Smith reports.
