Welcome to album review Tuesdays here on the channel and tonight we are doing another member request and this one comes from my good buddy Riky and he has asked for a review of Ragnarök-Diabolical Age which was released in 2000 on Head Not Found Records.

Ragnarök hail from Norway and are of course part of the important quintessential second wave of Norwegian Black Metal and have been quite prolific with their musical output and touring schedule. Now one thing I will say is that they have a very similar sound to Marduk in a lot of ways but I do feel like the band has its own identity as well.
it is rooted in the Scandinavian black metal sound and atmosphere and direction. Now I'm not saying that Ragnarök are reinventing the wheel or even that they're going to break any new ground with their musical offerings, but what I will say is that from what I've heard on this record they do have a strong powerful statement that demands to be heard.

So for the lineup we have
Thyme-Vocals
Rym-Guitars
Jerv-Bass (RIP 2017)
Jontho-Drums,Keyboards
