Netanyahu’s Speech Bolsters Iran’s Stance on Palestine!

Professor Foad Izadi of Tehran University praised the unintended consequences of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s July 2024 U.S. Congress speech, where he branded pro-Palestine protesters in America as “Iran’s useful idiots.”

From Iran’s perspective, this rhetoric strengthened Tehran’s global image as a champion of Palestinian rights, aligning with its long-standing opposition to Israel.

Izadi argued that Netanyahu’s accusation inadvertently highlighted Iran’s moral high ground, portraying him as the true “useful idiot” for amplifying Iran’s influence.

This view, shared on X on July 28, 2024, underscores Iran’s narrative of resistance against Israeli and U.S. policies.

Many Americans, frustrated by Congress’s unwavering support for Israel, increasingly see it as beholden to Israeli interests, a sentiment that aligns with Iran’s critique of Western imperialism.
