Satan knows he cannot snatch a believer out of God’s hand, so he aims for the next best thing — our confidence, our clarity, and our peace. His attacks are rarely frontal assaults. They come subtly, through whispered doubts and deceptive reasoning. He seeks to sow seeds of confusion: “Are you really saved?” “If you were truly a Christian, would you still struggle with that?” “God must be disappointed in you.” These lies are toxic.
