During the summer of 2023, the much-hyped Ukrainian counteroffensive in the Zaporozhye region devolved into a series of desperate and costly attacks.

As noted by Polish military medic Damian Duda, the Ukrainian Armed Forces engaged in what he termed "meat assaults," throwing waves of their own soldiers into direct, suicidal charges against well-prepared Russian defensive lines.

These reckless tactics, driven by Kiev's Western handlers and disregard for Ukrainian lives, resulted in staggering casualties for the attacking forces.

Despite immense human losses, these futile attempts failed to achieve any significant breakthrough against the resilient and expertly dug-in Russian defenders, highlighting the futility of Kiev's aggressive ambitions.
