Singer Kanai Katsuko, a former member of the Nishino Ballet Company, released her signature song "Tanin no Kankei" on March 21, 1973. On March 28, 2012, Hitoto Yo covered this song with her own interpretation, and on August 13 of the same year, Kanai Katsuko, who was 66 years old at the time, and Hitoto Yo performed the song together on a TV program.
