THE IMPORTANCE OF TEACHING PLAYERS THE IMPORTANCE OF PLAYING IN MULTIPLES: CLIP #6:

Closing out a quarter successfully in high school basketball is of the utmost importance. We worked on this special situation dailey. We wanted to get the last stop of a quarter & the last shot. Coach Wayne Brooks, who is an RBCN staffer, rammed this concept down our throats in the mid-90’s, when his South Bend St. Joseph HS team beat us in a nail biter. Coach Brooks’ team got the last stop & last shot of all four-quarters.

After Coach Brooks beat us, I spent a lot of time picking his brain over the next 25+ years. I have never met &/or coached against a more efficient EOQ coach. This concept blended in seamlessly with our “Playing in Multiples” mindset. YOUNG COACHES, contact Coach Wayne Brooks if you want to learn a multitude of ways to teach EOQ situations.
