Following a period of several weeks characterized by relative tranquility, the Russian military recommenced active operations in the Vremyevsky direction at the conclusion of April. The primary military engagements are occurring in the vicinity of Volnoye Polye, Novopolye, and Zelenoye Polye, where the advancement into the enemy's defensive positions persists.

The following is a chronology of battles in the sector:

At the onset of May, military forces engaged in combat operations, strategically positioning themselves along the forest strips that separate Volnoye Polye and Privolye, thereby establishing a new frontline. By May 13, Russian military units, supported by aviation and UAV operators, had reached the dam at Berestovaya Gully in Volnoye Polye.

Subsequently, the stormtroopers of the 5th Army units established Russian flags in Volnoye Polye, and the counterattacks of the Armed Forces resulted in the loss of at least five armored vehicles, albeit to no avail.

At the dam on the Voronaya River, military forces successfully expelled enemy combatants from positions between Novoselka and Rovnopole. By mid-May, assault units had advanced two kilometers in depth and more than six kilometers along the front, approaching Zelenoye Polye closely.

Subsequently, Russian military units advanced to the Novopolye-Zelenoye Polye line, approaching the border with the Dnipropetrovsk region. Thereafter, battles ensued in various settlements.

Heavy fighting transpired in the northern sector, encompassing the regions of Burlatskoye and Veseloye. In the eastern sector, Russian military forces are progressing along the Mokrye Yaly River towards Komar, thereby securing dominion over several forest strips in the northeast quadrant of Fedorovka.

It is important to note that the situation on the Vremyevsky direction remains dynamic. Following the consolidation of new positions, Russian troops have continued their operation to liberate settlements in the southwest of the DPR, also launching attacks towards the border of the Dnipropetrovsk region on the Andreevsky direction.
