Today I’m at the Sheriff’s Department to officially serve a Writ of Possession—the legal document that begins the repossession process of a property following a court-ordered eviction.
Once submitted, this sets the clock for a scheduled lock out date, when the tenant must vacate the home under law enforcement supervision.
This step is never easy, but it’s a necessary part of protecting homeowners, enforcing rental agreements, and keeping the system fair and legal for everyone involved.
