"The Old Man in the Cave"
Set in the post-apocalyptic year of 1974, this episode follows a small community that has survived a nuclear catastrophe by heeding the guidance of the enigmatic "old man in the cave." The townspeople rely on his counsel to determine which food supplies are safe and which areas are free from radiation. Their fragile order is disrupted when a group of soldiers, led by Major French, arrives and challenges the community's dependence on the unseen figure.
