Judea In the 1st Century AD - The Oded Golan Collection

There is quite a difference between how 1st century AD Judea & Jerusalem are depicted, and how they actually are. I (Ivor Kovac) had the privilege of visiting a display from the Oded Golan Collection, which on display in Pullman Yards (Atlanta) in 2025. The collection consisted of Jewish, Pagan, and early Christian artifacts, mostly from the 1st century AD, but going as late as the 5th century AD. The collection included ossuaries, tools, appliances, dishes, jars, and an assortment of other objects. Stone and clay were the main building materials used to craft household items.

This collection does include the ossuary of James the Brother of Jesus, author of the Epistle of James.
