Maple Burl Vessel

Had a friend that does scroll saw boxes give me a couple of cutoffs from a Maple Burl that he used to make a box with. Didn't know what to do with it for the longest until I watched Cindy Drozda do some work.

At first I colored it, but decided it looked better natural. I had made a finial for it, which you see me turn in the video. Unfortunately, when I glued it to the lid, it ended up being crooked, so I turned a different style, which you can see in the finished product.
