Puppy Dog Cupcakes 🐶🐕‍🦺

My kiddos requested a dog theme birthday party. My son wanted dog cupcakes, so dog cupcakes he received!

The cupcakes were vanilla with Oreo pudding mix.
Vanilla buttercream:
1 cup unsalted butter
4 cups confectioners' sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2-3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream

In a mixer, beat the butter until it becomes much lighter in color. Add in powdered sugar and whip until well mixed. Add vanilla extract and heavy cream and whip some more. Voila!

I also made chocolate icing for these, exact same recipe, just add a few tablespoons cocoa powder with the powdered sugar.
