Under flickering neon lights, the towering silhouettes of two mecha fighters loom — the sleek, agile Alpha Fighter and the bulkier, more powerful Beta Fighter.

TOM CRUISE, in his signature aviator shades and perfectly tailored flight suit, paces like a caged tiger. Across from him, JOE JUKIC, calm but firm, adjusts his neural-link headset with effortless cool. Sparks fly — literally and metaphorically.

TOM CRUISE
(voice rising)
Listen, Joe — I am the Alpha. The world knows it. I run on jet fuel and intensity. I’ve been flying since Top Gun, and I do my own stunts. Alpha’s mine.

JOE JUKIC
(grinning)
Cool story, Maverick. But the Beta links with the Alpha, right? And who keeps you flying when you burn too hot? That’s me. I’m your afterburner. I carry the heavy gear. You show off — I bring the payload.

TOM CRUISE
(gritting teeth)
Beta attaches to Alpha. That makes me the lead. I transform first.

JOE JUKIC
(cutting in)
Yeah, and when your fuel’s out and your frame’s shaking, it’s Beta Joe who docks and saves the day. You're the show pony. I'm the warhorse.

TOM CRUISE
(slamming helmet onto cockpit console)
You calling me fragile?

JOE JUKIC
(smiling)
I'm calling you a firework. Looks great in the sky, but it needs direction. I give this mission thrust.

TOM CRUISE
(points at Alpha fighter)
That jet is me. Fast. Daring. Beautiful. Meant to lead.

JOE JUKIC
(points at Beta fighter)
And this beast? That’s me. Strategic. Brutal. Designed to finish what you start.

PAUSE.
They stare at each other. Tension crackles like a short circuit. A shared grin slowly breaks across both faces.

TOM CRUISE
Alright, Beta Joe. Just don’t scratch my paint.

JOE JUKIC
Only if you don’t leave me in freefall again.

TOM CRUISE
Fair. Let’s bring the sky down.

JOE JUKIC
Let’s lift it up.
