Can A Leftists Be A Christian?: A Steep Criticism Into Chosen’s Elizabeth Tabish’s Theology

In March of 2025, Elizabeth Tabish (who plays Mary in the hit TV Show, Chosen) did an eye opening interview with “Vanity Fair’, breaking the silence on her views and convictions about Christianity, politics and the world.

There are a number of people who are like Tabish. They love the impact that Jesus has made in the world and even in their lives, but they still strictly adhere to their liberal leftist persuasions - citing their ability to enjoy the “best of both worlds”.

Is this problematic, and if so…how?

The world is riddled with many different variations and interpretations of Jesus, the Bible and religion. Which one is the real one? Can there only be ONE way to view Jesus?
