Mostly old jokes; trying them in a village in Surrey, called Dormansland. Or shall I call it Dormant Land?! Many Brits/Europeans call Americans ignorant of world affairs but this lot seemed uninformed or uninterested in major events in US politics, or too scared to laugh at jokes which were not even too controversial; jokes which had done surprisingly better in London. But I should refrain from blaming the audience; that would be like a female presidential candidate blaming WOMEN for her loss! By the way, they hated that joke too!
