About Rachel Ogden

Rachel Ogden was born in the Sacramento CA area and from age 5 knew she wanted to be a mom and a teacher. These two goals were accomplished in her 20's and have carried on through her adult life with 30 years of education experience. Rachel was not satisfied with the traditional education system and once she found Acton Academy her families life was turned upside down in a good way! The hero’s journey, open-mindedness and freedom to pursue your dreams spoke a lot to Rachel during her years at Acton Academy. Her family decided to start their next great adventure by moving to Tennessee and opening their own Acton.
