God gave us Daniel chapter 11 to demonstrate to us, in one little section of history, that when He says that something is going to come to pass, it will happen exactly as He said it would. The whole purpose of prophecy that is fulfilled literally is to teach us that prophecies about the future will also be fulfilled literally. If God has been shown accurate in past prophecies, will He not also be accurate in prophecies yet to be fulfilled? God's Word says He will come back for His Church.
