A Soldier's Song ( The Vow) by David Alan Hunter

With much thanks and respect to our veterans on their 250th birthday!

This video is my tribute as a musician/songwriter to all veterans.
I was inspired to write "A Soldier's Song – (The Vow)" by my dad, a proud Korean War veteran.
It's about the deep loyalty these brave warriors hold for each other & tells a story of a sacred vow between two of them to have each other's backs no matter what, and a mission that needed a guiding hand from above to be completed.

Some of you may have noticed that I haven't been posting my music much as of late, and here is the reason.

Some of you may also know that I was absolutely elated that one of my songs, “Word Salad Kammy” a parody that I wrote went viral on YouTube!

I posted the song about a month before the November 3rd election, and It was unbelievable to me that it began to get 1,000 views PER DAY, and actually began increasing! By the election in just weeks, the song had nearly 50,000 views and STILL CLIMBING!

It was so exciting to me to check my YouTube account every day to see what the count was! I was just so happy that my work would FINALLY be seen and heard by so many people, not for the money, but just to know that after all these years, I now knew that people actually appreciate my work!

Then a few days after the election as every day, I went to go onto my YouTube account and saw this message that simply said: “This account has been terminated.”

WHAT!!! I immediately thought it must be some website glitch, so I tried signing in againwith the same message! I then checked my email and saw this:

“Hi DaveHunterMusic, We have reviewed your content and found severe or repeated violations of our spam, deceptive practices and scams policy.

Because of this, we have removed your channel from YouTube.

My heart sank. All my songs and all the links to my songs on YouTube and all the work, hours and hours and days and weeks spent sending the links out were now useless!

The email did say I could appeal so I said this is a mistake and they'll reverse it, but within TEN MINUTES of emailing my appeal, I got a reply email from them saying, “We have reviewed your appeal and have decided that your account will be terminated. You can not have any YouTube account under ANY name ever.”

I know I did nothing wrong. All I did was post pro-MAGA and pro-Trump songs, so it was obvious that some butt-hurt commie at YouTube was pissed off that Trump won the election and took revenge on me. I have never had as they say in their rules, a strike one, two, or three even. No suspensions, or no videos pulled. They just terminated my account...FOR LIFE!

So, for the last few months although thrilled about the election, I was in a funk. Depressed that after being lucky enough to have one song to go viral, I would now have to post my songs elsewhere and hope that against all odds, lighting might strike twice.

So, I'm posting my songs on the Rumble.com platform and I am asking you to please support me there and to check out my music videos on Rumble at David Alan Hunter. We were almost there, and by now the song would've been up to MILLION YouTube views but I'm hoping that with your help we could do the same on Rumble. We really need to get Rumble going and get rid of YouTube's unfair monopoly, so I would REALLY appreciate your support there.
