Texas Governor Greg Abbott Signs Joint Resolution to Ban Non-Citizens from Voting in Elections

On Monday, Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed a joint resolution calling for a change to the state constitution that would explicitly prohibit non-citizens from casting ballots. Texas voters will have the final say when the proposed constitutional amendment is placed on the ballot in November.
