SCI Boston is a dedicated organization supporting individuals with spinal cord injuries or disorders (SCI/D), along with their families, loved ones, and healthcare associates. From the moment of injury, we provide hope through our nationally recognized Peer Visitation Program, offering unparalleled one-on-one support, guidance, and mentorship. Our trained volunteers and staff, who have successfully navigated post-SCI/D life, help the newly injured transition back into the community and achieve their goals of living fulfilling lives.

Doug Frey, President of SCI Boston’s Board of Directors since 2016, sustained a spinal cord injury in 2012 due to an epidural abscess. A peer mentor since 2015, Doug brings his experience from a career in investment management, where he helped corporations and institutions provide retirement plans. With a degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania, he is committed to leading SCI Boston’s mission to empower and support the SCI/D community through personalized mentorship and community reintegration.

Molly Sebo, SCI Boston’s Executive Director, has been a physical therapist and clinical specialist for individuals with spinal cord injuries since 1998. Her extensive experience as a clinician, mentor, volunteer, research assistant, and community advisory board member drives her passion for supporting the SCI/D community. Molly enjoys reiki, reading, spending time in nature, and cheering at her son’s sporting events, bringing a holistic perspective to her leadership in fostering hope and empowerment for those affected by SCI/D.
