1. Proper lighting
2. Learn the basic color wheel
3. Keep your palette simple
4. Don’t be afraid to try new things
5. Find artist you like and follow them on their social media
6. Don’t compare your work with anyone else, compare it to work YOU have done in the past.
7. Be honest with yourself
8. Try to avoid using black
