Why in the world did Jesus need to pray? He was, after all, the Son of God! Yet, He was also the son of man that lived His life in such a way that we could look at Him and know how we are to live our lives. Part of His assignment on this earth was to be a role model for every aspect of a Godly life, including the priority of prayer. Yes, He came to show us how to live the way the Father intended for all of us to live. Now He is forever interceding on our behalf, expecting us to walk in all that He has done for us, to walk in the abundance of who He is and praying that we will grab hold of what we need to grab hold of and come into the fullness of why we were even created.
