Partner at Donelson, D'Alessandro & Peterson, LLC with the primary focus of my practice on family law, representing victims of domestic violence, employment law, and cases of military discrimination, among other legal issues. .

Previously a Fellow at Rutgers Law Associates, Rutgers Law School Camden providing legal services to low to moderate income residents of New Jersey.

Prior to my legal career I gained over 20 years of experience in law enforcement, community corrections and related fields. Retired from the New Jersey State Parole Board at the rank of Lieutenant in 2015.

Employed with the Camden County Police Department from May 2016 to October 2017, as community corrections liaison. Performed a wide range of intelligence sharing, inter-agency cooperation, and offender supervision enhancement functions related to parole, probation, and corrections.

Parole experience includes several years serving as Parole liaison assigned to a multi-agency, law enforcement task force based in Camden, focused on reducing drug, gang and gun crime through intelligence led, cooperative investigative efforts. While a Lieutenant, also served as a District Parole Supervisor managing a large parole district office in Camden NJ. Previous assignments as Sergeant include fugitive unit, sex offender management unit and Assistant District Parole Supervisor of an urban parole office.

I am a graduate of the FBI National Academy, Class 247, December 2011, NJ Certified Public Manager, and possess extensive training in full spectrum of law enforcement, community corrections and counter-terrorism disciplines.

Educational background includes JD (Rutgers Law School), Ed.S in Educational Leadership, MA in Human Resources, and a BS in Law Enforcement.

I serve in the New Jersey Army National Guard as a logistics officer (90A). Completed deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.
