Inside Gaza hospitals under attack, with Dr. Majed Jaber and Afeef Nessouli

The humanitarian situation in Gaza is in a free-fall catastrophe. Since 2 March, Israel has plunged 2 million people into engineered starvation while it has systematically destroyed the medical infrastructure.

On 13 May, Israel bombed the European Gaza Hospital and the Nasser Medical Complex, both in Khan Younis, in southern Gaza.

We speak with Dr. Majed Jaber, an emergency room physician, who was working his shift at the European Gaza Hospital when it was bombed.

We're also joined by Afeef Nessouli, a healthcare logistics coordinator with Glia, a medical solidarity organization, to talk about what kind of medicine doctors and nurses in Gaza are able to practice under such conditions.
