Samson's Strength - The Secret Of His Power

Captured by his own people, Samson was handed over to the Philistines—but with God’s power, he struck down 1,000 men using only a donkey’s jawbone. Later, he escaped from Gaza by ripping the city gates off their hinges and carrying them away.

Then Samson fell in love with a woman named Delilah, not knowing the Philistines had bribed her to discover the secret of his strength. She tried to trap him with bowstrings, but he broke free. After two more failed attempts, Delilah kept pressing him day after day. At last, worn down, Samson revealed his secret: his strength came from being a Nazarite, and his hair had never been cut.

Delilah betrayed him, and the Philistines captured, blinded, and enslaved him. But in his final moments, Samson prayed, and God gave him strength one last time. He pushed down the pillars of the Philistine temple, collapsing it and defeating more enemies in death than in life.
